The Republic of Serbia has two Autonomous Provinces: the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija. The supreme legal act of the Republic of Serbia is the Constitution.

The highest legislative body is the National Assembly and it has 250 deputies.
