Novi Sad, 22 January - President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly Bálint Juhász and President of the Provincial Government Maja Gojković held a regular working meeting today to discuss the Province’s development plans for 2026 and upcoming priorities.
The meeting focused on the progress of the Province’s most important projects, with particular attention to improving transport and public utility infrastructure, supporting investments, and strengthening the capacities of public institutions.
The discussion also covered further improvements to the healthcare and education systems, the enhancement of the Province’s economic potential, as well as balanced regional development and support for local self-governments.
President Juhász underlined the importance of the successful cooperation between the Assembly of AP Vojvodina and the Provincial Government to date, noting that it ensures efficient implementation of provincial decisions and the stable operation of institutions. President Gojković emphasised that ongoing dialogue between the Assembly and the Government is a prerequisite for timely responses to challenges and the effective implementation of development policies.
Regular monthly meetings between the presidents of the APV Assembly and the Provincial Government have been established as a standard practice since the beginning of their mandates. This first meeting of 2026 aimed to set the workflow and priorities for the year, as well as to further strengthen cooperation between the two institutions.
