Provincial Assembly Decision on the flag of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina

("Official Gazette of AP Vojvodina", number 2/2004 and 18/2009)

Article 1

This Decision stipulates the flag of the Autronomous Province of Vojvodina and regulates its protocolar use.

Article 2

The flag of the Autronomous Province of Vojvodina, territorial autonomy in the Republic of Serbia, modern European region and member of the Assembly of European Regions, consists of three colours: red, blue and white, placed horizontally, with the ratio 1:8:1. In the middle of the blue field, there are three yellow stars placed in the form of a circle. The ratio of width to length is 1:2. The flag is two-sided and identical on both sides.

Article 3

The flag of the Autronomous Province of Vojvodina is put out in a way stipulated by this Decision, in accordance with this Decision, other regulations and protocolar practices, in a way which does not damage the reputation and dignity of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.

Article 4

The flag of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina is put out together with the flag of the Republic of Serbia, when putting out of the flag of the Republic of Serbia is stipulated by law or other regulation.

The flag of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina must not be used if it is damaged or if its appearance is inappropriate for usage.

Article 5

During the sessions of the Assembly of AP Vojvodina, the flag of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina is put out separately on buildings where the Assembly and Executive Council of AP Vojvodina are based, as well as in halls in which sessions of the Assembly and Executive Council of AP Vojvodina are held.

On the territory of AP Vojvodina, the flag of AP Vojvodina can also be used separately in other public gatherings, meetings, ceremonies and other public events where the Republic of Serbia is not represented.

The use of the flag of AP Vojvodina is mandatory in official premises used by the President of the Assembly and Executive Council of AP Vojvodina and it can also be placed in other official premises of the Assembly and Executive Council of AP Vojvodina.

Article 6

Etalon (original) of the flag of AP Vojvodina is kept in the Assembly of AP Vojvodina and other flags are modelled according to it.

Article 7

The flag of AP Vojvodina must not be placed in such a way as to touch the ground, nor as a cover, pad, rug, curtain and such.

The flag must not be used for covering vehicles or other items, nor to decorate conference desks or stands, except in the form of table tents.

If the flag is placed on a stand, it has to be placed on a mast to the right of the speaker or on the wall behind him, so as to prevent speaker from blocking it.

Article 8

This Decision enters into force on the eight day from the day of publishing in "Official Gazette of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina".
